prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

9th Leg of My Farewell Tour of the West Coast. Modesto to Hanford.

About 150 miles today. I am going to detour off the freeway in Fresno to see Fresno State University and the Sorority House that my grand daughter Lily stays in. I will go out of my way to see a famous place like that!

I am on my way for a visit with Donna Sue Coffey in Hanford. She is the daughter of my sister Donna.

The drive today, and the drive tomorrow from Hanford to Coalinga, will take me through some of the richest and most productive farmland in America. I always enjoy this area.
