prune picker
This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

I am missing Jackie more today.
Jackie passed away 4 1/2 years ago. We had been married 63 years. I miss her all the time. Today seems more so. She was such a good RV buddy. This picture is from one of many trips to LaConner, Washington. We did not miss many spring visits to the tulip fields. LaConner was a 30 minute ferry boat ride and a beautiful hour drive from our RV park in Chimacum.

I thought of Grandma a lot last week when we were at the beach. I have a lot of memories of being with ya'll in Galveston for so many years.
