prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

Patriotic & Bluegrass Gospel Show

I spent four hours this afternoon in the Arcadia RR Station. The North Louisiana Bluegrass Club was having their annual patriotic gospel show. It was a great show.

The four hours was divided between five bands. First was "Joyful Journey" A family with talent.

Second was "Mill Creek".

Followed by "Grassfire". I have enjoyed watching them for four years.

The next band took the place of the "Davis Band" and was called the "Jam Group" and made up of regular jammers. They were good.

The "Bake Brothers" was the last band. They sing good harmony and really play.

I enjoyed every minute.
