I will need to start saving up for the fare.
prune picker
This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

1612 Baptismal Font still in service.
Thomas Munson, my 8th great grandfather was baptized in 1612 in the St Nicholas Church in Rattlesden, England. I have reason to believe that the font used to baptize him is still in use! It occurred to me that it might be fun to go and look at it. I might even touch it. I am sure that a few great grandfathers of the Munson/Monsons are buried out back.
