prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

Trip day 14. See you in 8!

Nancy and I were walking over to the Bayeux Tapestry when she fell. Scared me. I thought she must have broke her shoulder-the way she fell on it. But she said she was alright and we went on to see the tapestry and to lunch.

Four hours after the fall she decided to see a doctor and get some Celebrex. The doctor is a block away and she has gone to see him We are scheduled for a tour tomorrow and Nancy said that she is ok and will be able to go. She knows that she needs the medicine to finish up our trip.

It is a shame that she fell and I pray that she will be fine. I think that she will be.
