prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

Lora Peppers. Monroe Library Genealogist.

I attended a lecture by Lora on the free Find a Grave service and data base that specializes in grave location.

Lora is a long time user of the Find a Grave service. She gave an enthusiastic, enjoyable, and informative lecture. I picked up some good tips. I want to locate the graves of paternal grandfathers as far back as I can. I am now working on my great grandfather Abner L. Monson. b, 1825 d.1875.
