prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

Grandma returns to service at the Ruston Waffle House.

When John and I went to the Waffle House Sunday morning a familiar waitress ran to open the door for us and to give us hugs. It was a lady we called Grandma who had served us for a long time but had been working at the Waffle House in West Monroe for several months. It was good to see her again. We do not usually get such a reception. I must admit that I get some hugs at Jefferson Corner.

What a nice couple !
