There is a Thousand Trails RV park in Lake Texoma that Jackie and I were fond of. It was not much out of the way of my 650 mile trip so I drove through it for old times sake.

Trip report on first leg of my Farewell Tour.
The trip was a walk down memory lane like most of my trips. Oilfield work and RVing with Jackie. First was places I visited when working for Superior Oil. Such as Whitesboro, Texas. And Lindsey and Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. In Whitesboro I went into the very same Dairy Queen that I visited in the 1980s. It looked like a new toilet however.

Looks like a good first day. How far did you make it?
ReplyDeleteLeft at 3 arrived at B & B at 6. Long day, 654 miles. Resting today before drive to Laramie, WY.
