prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

Sailboats and other things in the Luxembourg Park

Nancy and I went for a lovely walk in Luxembourg Park  today.  Today is Mothers Day in France. The pastry and flower shops were busy. There were lots of families in the park. We sat by a large pond. A man rented sail boats for people to sail. It was cold and windy today. Yesterday was hot. Today I wore my down jacket.

One man brought a boat from home that he radio controlled. It is the large white one. He really zipped back and forth!

I seem to be interested in the girl feeding the birds.

The Eiffel Tower from the pond.
