prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

Lover's Lock Bridge of Paris.

There is a pedestrian bridge in Paris that Nancy and I used to walk over the Seine. It had several thousand locks locked to the fence.

I suppose that you know, that it is an old Parisian belief, that if a couple places a marked lock on this bridge that their love will last forever.

Or you could know that is a fad that started several years ago in several European cities. Anyhow it is quite a sight. It takes you forever to get over the bridge if you read all the locks!
