prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

Tuesday sign in. Trip day 21. See you tomorrow!

Well we got her done! It has been a delightful trip. Nancy and I had a great time. The last week of the trip we walked 35.1 miles or 5 miles per day. Week 1 we walked 28.5 miles or 4.3 miles per day. Week 2 we walked 21.8 miles or 3.1 miles per day.

That gives a total for the trip of 85.4 miles. The average miles per day for the 21 trip days was 4.1. It was good that I tried to get in shape for the trip.

This is some art work that comes out of the sidewalk. It is a few blocks up the Rue Bonaparte. Not too good for walking on!
