prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

John had a busy Sunday afternoon.

At 8 am John paid for my breakfast at the Waffle House. Then he drove to West Monroe and taught his Sunday School Class. On the way home he picked up my old porch at the old place. And put it back together at my new location. I really appreciate his work. It is very nice to have steps and a porch at your RV door.

Then John cooked a little barbecue.

Is that t-bone steak big enough? It sure tasted good. Thanks John, for the porch, steps, and steak.
