prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

Trip home. Paris to Ruston

Took off from Paris at 5 am Ruston time and arrived home in Ruston at 12 midnight. That is 19 hours on the road. Four airports on the way home. Paris, London, Dallas, and Shreveport.

Most of the way home was business class which is very nice.  I watched Warhorse on the way home and in the early horse auction scene recognized the spot in a village that Nancy and I had visited two weeks ago.

Attended the Jefferson Corner Liars Club at 4:30 and swim class at 7:00. Had a nice nap in the car in between these two events.

Joan of Arc statue on the way to de Gaulle Airport.

Nancy checking in for a 12 hour jumbo jet flight to LA.

French village.

Little snack on the way to London.

This is the Olympic Stadium.

A little bigger snack on the way to Dallas.

I caught Rhonda working in the snuff department. She is the Social Chairman for the Jefferson Corner Liars Club.
