prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

Life in the air!

I was sitting out in the gazebo next to the koi pond this morning. I realized that I run things around here until John and Kerry get home from Jennings tomorrow. I saw a bird that I had never seen before. That is exciting. I can not identify it in my bird book. I hope the bird comes back.

I looked at the other birds. I looked at the fish, the clouds, and the trees. I realized how fortunate I am to live in this place. Thank you John and Kerry Wonderful family and friends. It is even good that I can not drive. Makes me sit and think. I am appreciating being alive.

Life is in the air.
