prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

Vital Signs.

The table below is the start of my weekly vital signs in 2013. At the start of 2012  I weighed 250 pounds, the most that I have ever weighed in my life. I went on a conditioning regime to get in shape for my trip, with my daughter Nancy, to Rattlesden, England. I dieted and walked a lot and at one time before our trip in May my weight was 217 pounds. (For one day}

I did pretty good until after the trip to England and my Farewell Tour of the West Coast. Then I relaxed into bad habits. Ate more junk and walked a lot less. Look at me now. Almost back to 250 pounds. I have hopes that this table will help goad me into a positive life style.
