prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

Met an old friend at the Port Townsend Farmers Market

Shortly after moving to Chimacum in 1989 I enrolled in a Water Watchers Class. The person responsible for the class was Katherine Baril of Washington State University Extension in Jefferson County, She was and is so sharp and pleasant. It was a pleasure and exciting to see her again.

I am grateful to her and the Water Watchers Class for enriching my life and increasing my understanding of conservation and natural processes. She has recently retired. I wish her all the best. I know that she will be busy.
