prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

The Lift Mechanic and the Pastry Chef.

I am spending a couple days in Jackson Hole visiting my grand daughter Corrie Faith Wright and Chadwick Michael Graham.  They are a fun couple in the fun business. Chad is a lift mechanic and keeps the filfts running so people can go skiing and visit mountain tops. Corrie is a pastry chef and makes good things to eat.

They took me up on a cable car to 10150 feet. What a nice view of Jackson Hole and the Tetons.

I had a seat in the front row of the cable car.

If you look close you can see a climber.
