prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

Bulldogs played UALR last night.

Boy what a game. The University of Arkansas at Little Rock was in the lead most of the game. They were ahead by 15 points once. I thought this was going to be a relaxing game with UALR winning easily.

It was a zero tuba game. And zero cheerleaders. I assume that the band and cheer team were in San Diego getting ready for the Poinsettia Bowl. The Bulldog football team plays TCU there wednesday night.

We had twenty pon pon girls.

We had the usual seven men in suits. They only had six.

There was a jump contest at half time.

The Bulldogs roared back in the second half. One player made 26 points in eight minutes.

We won! At the bell. 71 to 68.

The fans had to sing the "its hard to humble" song without the band. This fan did the finger holding up for his  group.
