prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

Today is Kerry's Birthday.

My daughter Kerry was born in Sacramento, California. Before she was a week old I was transferred to Ventura. California. We l (Kerry's Mother, Jackie, her older sister Nancy, her older brother Chris, and I) lived in a motel room for a month. Kerry's bed was a dresser drawer.

Who would think that years later that I would live in a fifth wheel trailer in her backyard. She invited me over to her house last night for a dinner of home made deer meat stew. It was very good.

Happy Birthday, Sweet Kerry. I love you.

  1. She and David were born in the same hospital in Sacramento, 17 years apart.
