Louisiana Tech has a new basketball coach. Last night was his first appearance in a basketball game at the Tech stadium. You can gain some appreciation of the importance of his first game. The following picture of the bench shows seven men in coats and ties. Five in the first row and two in the second row. They all seemed to be involved in the sideline work. The Tech coach staff really outnumbered the opposition coacking staff of four men. Two of them had their coats off.
At half time one of the Tech coaches came to the camera booth and got a computer to take into the locker room. Do you suppose they looked at movies of the first half? It was a good game. The Bulldogs really played hard. A two pointer in the last second gave them a one point victory! 72 to 71.
