prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

Cutting Horse Competition.

There was a week long cutting horse competition in West Monroe at the Ike Turner Memorial Horse Pavilion. I was able to visit it today on the way to Ross's football game.

I enjoy watching the horse and rider work so well to cut a cow out of the group. This is a big competition with almost a thousand horses competing. Some came a great distance. Sure some pretty horses and good riders. A Mustang from Cal Poly would know that.

You can always use a hat and a saddle.
