prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

Pack the gym night. Techsters vs Fresno State.

Saturday night was the annual pack the gym night. Free carnival, free food, free, and low cost admission. The carnival was just outside the front entrance of the gym.

Big crowd.

Larry and Patti Hendricks, my good friends from swim class and bluegrass and Choudrant, let me sit with them.

Good half time show with pretty girls and trained dogs.

It was a good game. Fresno was very good and were ahead by 15 at one time. The Techsters came back and tied the game in the last few minutes. They had a chance to win in the last seconds but could not pull it off.

Final score 61 to 59. I told my friends that in a way I was on the winning side, because my grand daughter Lily is a student at Fresno State. They did not appreciate my remark.
