prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

Logan's Road House

It is a Ruston tradition. Whenever a new restaurant opens up, everyone must eat there and give a report on the food and service. Well, a new Logan's Road House opened here a week or so ago.

I do not know if there are Logan's on the West Coast, but they are a chain here. It is a free peanuts, throw the shells on the floor type of place. It is very noisy.  Skip and Carolyn Russell, John and Kerry Adams, and the old prune picker went there last night. I had grilled meat loaf. It was good.
