prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

Surveying Class..

This afternoon I went to the Lambright Athletic Center at Tech. I walked around the inside track for awhile. It is air conditioned and is always a comfortable place to walk. When I left I drove through the Tech campus. I saw the following.

It was a beautiful day for a surveying class on the lawn. I fondly remember surveying in the hills above San Luis Obispo, California as part of a college surveying class. That was 66 years ago in 1946.
