prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

Ten most viewed prune picker blog posts.

This is the 2518th post that I have written since starting my blog. I have recently found a program that can determine the ten most viewed prune picker blog posts. I have placed links to the ten posts in the right column of my blog. It is an interesting list, especially to me. The most viewed post is on Carnac, a village on the Brittany Coast of France. See Carnac. I wrote the post March 5, 2012. It was two months before my trip to England and France with my daughter Nancy.

Carnac (same name as the wizard played by Johnny Carson) and the prehistoric stone formations around the village is a couple of hours from Bayeux, where Nancy and I stayed. I thought it would be interesting to see the stones. (older than Stonehenge and the Pyramids) But we did not have time.

I have noticed over time the number of clicks that the Carnac post received. But I was surprised to see that it was my number one viewed post. It is number one by a lot. And I did not get there. I guess that there is not a lot of internet sites on Carnac. I include a few pictures of the stones. They are photogenic.

101 days to my 90th birthday.
