prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

I have a request for more chicken pictures.

Here you are. I have included some pictures of the chickens growing up. It is hard to believe that they have not always been the big beautiful chickens that they are now. The bantam rooster came to us full grown. He is a good looking bird.

How small and homely.

Midsize. Better looking.

One handsome dude!

Isn't she pretty?

What a group. They flock together except at egg laying time. Well I hope that is enough chicken pictures for awhile. Farm attention is about to shift to the rabbits. The two does are due to have little ones next Monday and Tuesday.

104 days to my 90th birthday.
