prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

Sunday morning - no rattle in my chest!

No rattle in my chest this morning. Just a hint of pleurisy pain when I breathe. I was going to see the doctor on Monday. I am glad that I do not have to do that.

This bout with pneumonia/pleurisy has really tore up my schedule. I missed the last two home basketball games of the Techsters. On Thursday and Saturday night. I missed three Dawg baseball games. On Friday evening and a double header on Saturday. I missed the monthly meeting of the North Louisiana Bluegrass Club in Arcadia. Gee, what is the use of going on?

I am looking forward to getting out and attending the monthly meeting of the North East Louisiana Genealogical and Historical Society in Monroe.

The one daffodil out front now has company.

  1. I'm so glad you're getting better. Aren't you glad you don't smoke anymore?
