prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

Great grand daughter Holly playing in her backyard.

Holly's yard is in Woodenville, Washington. This stream is not always this large. On one side of the stream is Holly's backyard, on the other side is a freeway!

I will spend the night of July 17 at Holly's home. Her folks will meet me at the Seattle Airport. The next day we will drive and ferry boat to Orcas Island in the San Juan Islands. All of my oldest daughter's family will spend the following week on Orcas Island. Me too. Monday July 20 is my 90th birthday. (Have I ever mentioned that?) Hope they have a cake.

Maybe I will stick a toe in this stream.
