prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

These lovely shrubs must be cut!

This is a picture of the front of our Senior Center. We (Lincoln Council On Aging) recently purchased the building and had it remodeled for the use of the senior citizens of Ruston. I volunteered to look into a sign. We decided to fasten letters to the front of the building. The three lines would list the donor of the money that was used to purchase and remodel the building, the title SENIOR CENTER, and the Lincoln Council On Aging. Much to my chagrin it will be necessary to remove or cut back the shrubs, which are really small trees and probably 20 years old. I will blog a picture of the final result.
