prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

John installs squirrel houses.

John put in a couple of hours of hard work this afternoon overhauling one squirrel house and installing two new ones. I sat in the shade and watched. My real job was to be on the alert and, if John had an accident, to call 911. John is very careful and experienced. Job went smooth.

It is hard work to put a heavy squirrel house thirty feet above the ground in a pine tree. I have two photos and a video for you to see.

John is on way down after the installation.

New house in squirrel land!

Watch John go up the tree using his tree stand.
