prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

Death in the woods. (almost)

Patches and I were smooching in the gazebo when all of a sudden Patches ran down the hill into the woods. She chased down what she had seen and brought it back to me. It was a baby squirral.

The story ends happyly. The baby squirral later recovered and returned to the woods.

Patches is skating on thin ice. John likes squirrals more than he likes cats. I do not believe that Patches could handle a full grown squirral. I have never seen her try.
