These pictures indicate how much larger my view is now. I am enjoying the view.
This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. (91) I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

I recently purchased a 27 inch Apple iMac.
I was having a hard time reading my laptop. My eyes are getting weak. A 27 inch screen allows me to read my monitor from a distance. There are times when two monitors can be helpful. For instance the column headings on a census form can be on one monitor while you read the data in the columns on another monitor. Or a second monitor can help in the copying of data from one form to another.
