prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

Another trip to Arcadia bluegrass.

The North Louisiana Bluegrass Club has a bluegrass show of several bands every second Saturday at the old RR Station. It is a great show. A volunteer donation is the only cost to you. I have been going to the program for seven years. I do not miss very many.

Last week they had an article in the local newspaper and a picture of a band playing. The article really increased the attendance. I went last Saturday and there was a nice group to enjoy the music.

It is worth the trip to see Grassfire. There are usually three other bands.

It is a fun trip. You'll come!
