prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

The Traditional Dish of Peach Ice Cream.

I went downtown yesterday to eat my yearly Ruston Peach Festival dish of peach ice cream.

I brought a chair to sit on while I ate my ice cream.

Doesn't that look good?

All gone!

This house is across the street from the Civic Center. Three ladies came out of it and gave me a hug. Shucks, I did not get a picture of them to put on the blog.

  1. Looks delicious and soooo traditional. Thanks for reminding me of my father's homemade peach ice cream.
