prune picker

This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

Skip Russell loves miniature burros.

Five days ago while driving west on White Lightning (Hwy 142, if you are straight laced) Skip saw a new born miniature burro in the woods. This morning he drove me out to see the precious animal. It is in a well fenced area next to a home. The people in that home must be the proud owners of this little guy. You can the tracks of traffic up to the fence left by visitors who want to pet the little guy.

He is a nice guy and so gentle.

So is he.
