prune picker
This is the blog of a prune picker. (Native born Californian) Retired oilfield. I am an old man. I blog a lot about my body and getting old. As I approach death life gets more interesting. More interesting is not good. I still drive. I attend sports, music, and civic events. I am writing my memoirs. I attend swim class three times a week. Some of my blogs might be interesting. A lot of my blogs are silly and trivial. None are very long.

Flying squirrel and Fort Cerjl construction.
John was working on Fort Cerjl today. Sometime ago he had mounted a blue bird house on a tree located a yard or two from the Fort. He remarked that he might as well take the house down as the noise of grandchildren would scare birds away. As he started to unscrew the house a flying squirrel poked his (her) head out the hole and gave him a dirty look. We suspect that there are babies in the box. Isn't that exciting? John is going to mount a game camera on the box. I hope to put pictures of baby flying squirrels on my blog.
