Chickens eat flowers and flower plants!

I was reading the paper in the gazeba. As usual the six chickens came to visit. They do not linger, however.

I noticed a group feeding on a flower.

This what they left of the flower plant.

This picture was taken a day later. The chickens really like that plant. They may dig it out and eat the roots!
