Dirty little coward that shot Mr. Howard.

I blogged about Jesse James yesterday. One hundred and thirty years ago Robert Ford shot Jesse James in the back of the head. It was on April 3, 1882. My Dad was one year old. Ford was a trusted member of the James gang. He did the killing after the governor promised him a reward and a pardon for the heinous deed. . After he was pardoned Ford went on the road in a show where he reenacted the murder. OJ had better taste.

Ford is holding the murder weapon in the above photograph. A few years later he died in a bar room fight.
