John got two red hens and a big rattlesnake!

John picked up two red hens from the Farmers Market in Franklinton. He also picked up a rattlesnake out at the deer lease in Arcadia. He did not pick up the snake until he had shot it.

That is about the biggest rattlesnake that I have seen.

The chicken flock is back up to three. It took a couple of days for the old white hen and the two red hens to get acquainted but they hang out together now.
