The picture was taken December 17, 1966 at the wedding of Jackie's and my oldest daughter Nancy. What a happy day that was for the Prunepicker, Nancy, Bob, and Jackie.
Three years after the picture was posted a Prunepicker Blog reader has requested permission to use the picture in a book on short wedding dresses. Nancy and I think that is fine. We are interested in seeing the final result.
I am ashamed to say that I had forgotten that Nancy made her wedding dress herself. I think that it is beautiful. If I had remembered, I would have been bragging about it. Thanks Nancy for your comment below.
I don't know if you remember Daddy, but I made the dress myself.
