The Founding Fathers of Monroe.

I attended the monthly meeting of the North East Louisiana Genealogical and Historical Society today. We fondly  refer to the Society as NELA G & H.

President Sandra Jo Blate officiated.

She introduced the speaker, Larry Foreman of the Ouachita Parish Library.

Larry gave a very interesting and stimulating talk on the first leaders of the Monroe area. There were many questions. The attendees enjoy Larry.
