A Dear Waffle House Friend.

I (and John) have a dear friend. We only see her at the Waffle House a few times a month. But over the years she, John, and I have become close friends. John and I are thrilled to see that she is in her regular booth when we make it to the Waffle House. Her friendly greeting, smile, and hug start the day perfect.

Dr Doris Williams-Smith is a Professor at Grambling State University. But to everyone at the Waffle House she is Doris. She is an extra nice person.
