Post Commander JD Harper is so busy (What would we do without him?) that he gets a phone call during the meeting.
After remarks thanking Mr Owens of the Owens Cemetery for the contribution of a gravesite and other items to the VFW Flag Retirement Program JD presented Mr Owens with a nice commemoration plaque.
Mr Owens returned the favor with a check donating funds to the VFW Post.
