23rd Annual Meeting of the Evergreen Coho Resort and some views of the Park.

The Park elected three directors, passed some bylaw changes, and did some other business. The meeting was over by lunch time. I was at the first meeting and it took three long days! Now the meeting takes less than three hours.

There were 103 voting members present and some 40 proxies. There are 175 voting memberships.

The President and the Parliamentarian. The year that I was President the Parliamentarian did not show up. I had to wing it on my own.

The Treasurer gives his report. Looks like Ed Chatham.

A candidate for the Board. Looks like Chuck Winsor. He was elected.

A bunch of bird houses.

The sign states that it is 1932 miles to Derby, Kansas.

Fountain at the Park entrance by Elsie.

Pretty gazebo. I helped to shingle.

The mail box in front of the office looks like an RV rig.

This lawn mower had a full and useful life.

The Park Totem Pole. It tells the early history of the Park.

Entrance to the clubhouse.

The map membership board. I had a lot to do with making it.

The library.

Main room stage. Designed by Paul Cooper. Paul also designed the clubhouse and many other buildings in the Park.

Nice laundry.

I forget the meaning of the design on the tapestry. The last half of the weaving was done by John and Jackie Dale

The bar. For many years the bartender was Carl Turner.

The pool room.

Jackie and I lived at and worked on the Park for 17 years, from 1989 to 2006.. The 17 years is 20 per cent of my life. I lived here longer than I have lived anywhere in my lifetime of 87 years. I feel very much a part of the Evergreen Coho Resort and this part of the Olympic Peninsula and always will.

  1. Most people are driving crazy in all there might just to get an income of outcomes. Forgetting to enjoy one selves, for the reason that more awakes on it. That's why they dragged them selves to a resort to make their feelings relaxed and enjoy every moment that they never felt when they are in work. Life is worth enjoying, how can you enjoy if your always getting rid of your work?.
