The North East Louisiana Genealogical and Historical Society had their monthly meeting yesterday. Larry Foreman from the Ouachita Parish Library gave a talk on the history of early black families of Monroe.
Larry gave an interesting talk illustrated with old newspaper clippings. Jim Free, the President of the Society introduced Larry.
