The Ruston VFW building has had a long and useful life.

But the building is cracking and about to fall in on itself. Post Commander JD Harper has recommended that the building be replaced with a new building at a location that is more amenable to handicap access. At a meeting on October 13 the post membership voted to start a building fund.
