Northeast Louisiana Genealogical and Historical Society Meeting 10.09.11

Larry Forman of Special Collections gave an interesting talk on an early Monroe citizen. He was Andrew Myatt who fought at Vicksburg. He lost his right eye to a mini ball. Larry presented a 1913 photograph of Andrew at a convention in Monroe. I really like old photos. I am sorry I can not do it justice.
