Morristown just reeks of history. It was often the headquarters for George Washington. My fifth great grandfather, Solomon Munson, moved here from New Haven, Connecticut before the Revolutionary War and served in the Army. He passed away here in 1803. He was buried in the Burying Ground of the Presbyterian Church. I could not identify his gravestone. There were many unreadable stones. Perhaps one the stones in these pictures is his. I like to think so.

The next four of my great grandfathers are buried in Kentucky. That is where I am going tomorrow.
