Tracing back in time.

I was born and raised in California. My ancestors before that lived in Kansas, Kentucky, New jersey, and Connecticut in America. Suffolk, Lincolnshire, and Sussex in England. Saint Lo in France.  This is back to 1100. I do not know if it is possible to go back any further. But it is fun to try.

    It might be possible in France. They are very proud of their ability to trace their families back across the centuries. By the way, St. Lo was an important WWII site during the Allied Invasion.

    The city was essentially destroyed in the bombing. They debated not rebuilding and leaving it as a monument to the horror of war.
