Its fish fry time down south.

Ruston is a buzz with fish frys.  Churches and various civic groups are really frying a lot of fish. It is usually catfish or white perch. The picture below is a typical fish fry plate. Always hush puppies, usually cole slaw and sliced fresh onions. Some frys are better than others.

I sometimes wish there were more steak frys.
